Technical Instructions

Installation Procedure

1.

Open hood and cover fenders.

2.

Position drain pan under radiator and drain coolant.

3.

Raise vehicle on hoist.

4.

Remove both inlet and outlet heater hoses and discard.

5.

Install supplied heater hose assemblies (items 8 and 9) with new clamps (item 7). Route 1/4 inch hoses up toward top of engine compartment.

6.

Lower vehicle.

7.

Disconnect 1/4" rubber hose from existing nylon tee in PCV hose located between runners 3 and 4 in the intake manifold. Remove and discard
PCV hose, PCV valve and nylon tee.
