Control Assembly: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

NOTE:  Although the climate control assemblies for vehicles with and without A/C are different, the removal and installation procedures are similar.
The following procedures illustrate the removal and installation of the climate control assembly for vehicles equipped with A/C. These procedures can be
used for non-A/C vehicles.

Glove Compartment

1. Remove the two screws and remove the glove compartment.
2. Disconnect the vacuum hose from the vacuum control motor.

Cam And Cable

3. Disconnect the cable from the air conditioner and heater control cam and the heater-A/C control cable clip.

Lever And Cable

4. Disconnect the temperature cable from the heater air regulator control lever and the heater-A/C control cable clip.
