1. Start the engine and warm it up to normal operating temperature.

Idle Speed Adjustment

2. Connect Rotunda 73 Digital Multimeter 105-00051 or equivalent to the Data Link Connector (DLC) IG terminal and increase the engine speed to

4,000 rpm.

3. Slowly decrease the engine speed and verify that the bolt on the throttle lever touches the dashpot rod at approximately 3,500 rpm.

4. If the bolt does not touch the dashpot rod at approximately 3,500 rpm, loosen the bolt and turn it until the dashpot rod touches the bolt at

approximately 3,500 rpm.
