Rear Shock / Strut Assembly Removal

7. Remove the rear shock/strut assembly from the vehicle.

NOTE: Use protective plates in the vise.

1. Position the rear shock/strut assembly into a vise and secure the assembly at the mounting block.

2. Remove the cap and loosen the piston rod nut one turn. Do not remove the piston rod nut at this time.
