Stabilizer Bar: Service and Repair
Rear

1.

Raise and support vehicle, then remove stabilizer nuts, washers, bushings, sleeves and bolts.

2.

Remove bolts securing stabilizer bar brackets and grommets to rear suspension crossmember, then remove stabilizer bar from vehicle.

3.

Reverse procedure to install noting the following:
a. Torque stabilizer bar bracket bolts to 32-43 ft. lbs.
b. Install stabilizer bar washers, bushings, sleeve and nut and tighten so that .64-.72 inches of thread is exposed.
