Install pin into hole on throttle cam, Figure 2 and 3.

After the valve body is installed, remove pin and install bolt, Figure 4. Refer to the 1991 Escort/Tracer Shop Manual for valve body service details.
NOTE:
WHEN INSTALLING THE BOLT, IT IS NECESSARY TO APPLY SEALANT TO PREVENT OIL LEAKAGE.

Line pressure must still be set by the throttle cable, using a gauge on the line pressure port.
