Lower Control Valve Body

Disassembly

CAUTION:  Handle the main control vale body carefully. If any of the components are damaged, it may become the cause of malfunctions in the
transaxle.

1. Remove the (A) filter bolt and the (B) filter. Remove the O-ring from the filter and discard.

2. Remove the (A) oil pipe bolts and the (B) oil pipe assembly; Remove the O-rings and seals from the oil pipe assembly and discard.

3. Remove the (A) torque converter clutch (TCC) solenoid bolt and the (B) TCC solenoid; then remove the (C) 1-2 shift solenoid.

4. Remove the 2-3 shift solenoid and the 3-4 shift solenoid.

(1) Remove the 2-3 shift solenoid bolt.
(2) Remove the 3-4 shift solenoid bolt.
(3) Remove the 2-3 shift solenoid and the 3-4 shift solenoid.
