Detach wiring harness braces from heater case.

7.

Remove three lower brace attaching screws, then remove brace.

8.

Remove two lower heater case mounting bolts, then two upper heater case mounting nuts.

9.

Remove mounting nut from passenger side of heater case, then disconnect lower duct from heater case.

10.

Pull heater case straight rearward, using care not to damage heater core tubes.

11.

Remove three attaching screws, then remove heater core cover, Fig. 13.

12.

Remove heater core tube braces, then remove heater core by pulling straight out.

Remove clip, then remove extension outlet tube.

14.

Loosen clamp, then remove extension inlet tube.

15.

Reverse procedure to install.
