Keyless Entry Module: Description and Operation
Timer Module Programming
Each electronic door lock control system operates on its own Transmitter Identification Code (TIC). If additional transmitter(s) are required or replaced,
each new TIC must be programmed into the timer module. The timer module will accept up to four keyless entry remote transmitters.
Each TIC can be programmed into the timer module by performing this procedure:
1. Enter vehicle; close and lock all doors.
2. Insert and remove the key from the ignition more than six times within ten seconds to eliminate the original code. The instrument panel lights will
flash to indicate that the original code has been erased.
3. Turn key to the accessory position.
4. Press lock button on the transmitter once. The instrument panel lights will flash to acknowledge acceptance.
5. To enter additional remote transmitter(s), unlock then lock the driver door using the power door lock switch located on the driver door.
6. Press LOCK button on additional transmitter(s). Instrument panel will flash to acknowledge acceptance.
If vehicle is equipped with anti-theft, the lamp indicators acknowledgement is as illustrated.
