Head Rest: Service and Repair
Seat Back Head Restraint Cover

REMOVAL 

1. Press the button on the seat head rest guide rod sleeve and lift out the seat back head restraint of the seat head rest guide rod sleeves.
2. Unfasten the plastic seam on the front seat back head restraint cover.
3. Cut the hog rings on the seat back head restraint cover.

4. If the seat head rest guide rod sleeve is being removed from the right rear bench seat seating position, remove the two bolts for the safety belt

guide. Slide the safety belt guide off the seat back head restraint post.

5. Remove the seat back head restraint cover from the seat back head restraint.

INSTALLATION 

1. Turn the seat back head restraint cover inside out.
2. Roll the front seat back head restraint cover over the seat back head restraint from top to bottom.
3. Install the safety belt guide (RH rear bench seat seating position only).

4. Secure the seat back head restraint cover with new hog rings.
5. Fasten the plastic seam on the front seat back head restraint cover.
6. Slide the seat back head restraint into the seat head rest guide rod sleeve on the top of the seat back.
