Seat Latch: Service and Repair

CENTER SEAT 

REMOVAL 

NOTE:  Center bucket seats and the center bench seat have the same type of seat release latches. Each center seat (bucket or bench) has two seat
release latches.

1. Remove the center seat from the vehicle.
2. Place the seat upside down on a clean, sturdy workbench.

3. Remove the two seat release latch bolts.
4. Remove the seat release latch from the seat support assembly.

INSTALLATION 

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure. 
2. Tighten the seat release latch bolts to 35-40 Nm (25-30 Lb Ft).
