Brake Rotor/Disc: Service and Repair
Disc Backing Plate
REMOVAL
1. Remove the front wheel knuckle.
2. Pry the front disc brake rotor shield from the front wheel knuckle with a suitable tool.
NOTE: The front disc brake rotor shield should only be removed if it is damaged.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the Anti-Lock Sensing Ring Remover T85P-20202-A on the front disc brake rotor shield and the Dust Shield Replacer T87C-1175-B
under the front wheel knuckle. Use a press to install the front disc brake rotor shield onto the front wheel knuckle.
2. Install the front wheel knuckle.
