Villager V6-181 3.0L SOHC VIN 1 EFI (1997)
CAUTION: Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, immediately
wash it with water.
2. Remove and plug the two brake master cylinder reservoir hoses from the brake master cylinder.
3. Remove the two brake master cylinder nuts.
4. Remove the brake master cylinder.
INSTALLATION
1. Position the brake master cylinder on the power brake booster and install the brake master cylinder nuts. Tighten the brake master cylinder nuts to
8-11 Nm (71-97 inch lbs.).
2. Unplug and connect the brake master cylinder connector tube and the brake master cylinder outlet rear tube to the brake master cylinder. Tighten
the brake tube flare nuts to 15-18 Nm (11-13 ft. lbs.).
3. Unplug and install the two brake master cylinder reservoir hoses to the brake master cylinder.
4. Fill the brake master cylinder reservoir to the proper level with Ford High Performance DOT 3 Brake Fluid C6AZ-19542-AB or DOT-3
equivalent fluid meeting Ford specification ESA-M6C25-A.
5. Bleed the brake system.
