Villager V6-181 3.0L SOHC VIN 1 EFI (1997)
Brake Proportioning/Combination Valve: Adjustments
1. Measure the spring length with the vehicle in the unloaded position. The spring length should measure between 158.8-161.8mm (6.252-6.370
inches).
NOTE: Fuel, radiator coolant, and the engine oil should be at the specified levels before measuring the spring length. The spare tire, jack, hand
tools, and the floor mats in the vehicle should be in their stowed positions.
2. If the spring length is not within specification, have an assistant sit on the rear end of the vehicle then slowly get off of the vehicle to stabilize
suspension deflection.
3. Loosen the eye bracket bolts.
4. Adjust the spring length by moving the eye bracket.
5. Tighten the eye bracket bolts to 17-21 Nm (12-15 ft. lbs.).
