Cruise Control Servo: Testing and Inspection
1. Key OFF
2. Disconnect the speed control actuator electrical C127.
3. Using a jumper, connect the speed control actuator assembly C127, terminal 2 to battery positive terminal.
4. When terminal 3 is connected to battery negative terminal, the speed control actuator assembly should operate.
5. Using a jumper, connect terminal 2 to the battery positive terminal while connecting terminals 1, 3 and 4 to the battery negative terminal. Verify
that the speed control actuator pulls in.
6. With the connections made as in the previous step, remove the jumper from terminal 3. Verify that the speed control actuator remains pulled in.
7. With the connections made as in the previous step, remove the jumper from terminal 2. Verify that the speed control actuator releases immediately.
8. If the speed control actuator does not operate as specified, replace the speed control actuator. Otherwise, return to the Pinpoint Tests See: Testing
