Camshaft: Description and Operation
One camshaft is located in each cylinder head. Each camshaft is supported within the cylinder head by four bearing journals. Thrust loads and end play
are limited by the camshaft thrust plates. Two camshaft sprockets and a timing chain/belt connect the camshafts to the crankshaft.
