Villager V6-181 3.0L SOHC VIN 1 EFI (1997)
Applying Silicone Sealant To Oil Pan
2. Apply a bead of Loctite Ultra Grey 599 silicone sealant or equivalent meeting Ford specification WSE-M4G320-A2 to the oil pan as shown.
3. Install the oil pan on the cylinder block. Tighten the 18 oil pan bolts in the sequence shown to 7-8 Nm (62-70 inch lbs.).
4. Install the rear transaxle-to-engine brace.
5. Install the four rear transaxle-to-engine brace bolts. Tighten the rear transaxle-to-engine brace bolts to 30-40 Nm (22-30 ft. lbs.).
6. Install the front transaxle-to-engine brace.
7. Install the five front transaxle-to-engine brace bolts. Tighten the front transaxle-to-engine brace bolts to 30-40 Nm (22-30 ft. lbs.).
8. Install the exhaust inlet pipe.
9. Position the transverse member in place. Install the four transverse member bolts.
10. Tighten the four transverse member bolts to 78-88 Nm (58-65 ft. lbs.).
11. Install the two rear refrigerant/heater pipes hold-down bracket bolts.
12. Install the rear engine mount through bolt. Tighten the rear engine mount through bolt to 78-88 Nm (58-65 ft. lbs.).
13. Install the front engine mount through bolt. Tighten the front engine mount through bolt to 78-88 Nm (58-65 ft. lbs.).
14. Remove the screw-type jack from under the vehicle.
15. Lower the vehicle.
16. Fill the engine with the specified engine oil to the required level.
