7. Loosen the generator adjustment bolt.
8. Remove the generator drive belt from the generator pulley and crankshaft pulley.
INSTALLATION
1. Inspect the pulleys for warping or abnormal wear. Replace any damaged pulley.
2. Position the generator drive belt on the generator pulley and the crankshaft pulley.
3. Adjust the generator drive belt tension.
4. Tighten the generator locking bolt to 16-20 Nm (12-15 ft. lbs.).
5. Tighten the inner and outer generator-to-bracket bolts to 22-27 Nm (16-20 ft. lbs.).
6. Position the RH engine and transmission splash shield.
7. Install the engine and transmission splash shield bolts and two engine and transmission splash shield screws.
8. Lower the vehicle.
9. Connect the battery ground cable.
