Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Testing and Inspection
Air Intake System Tests
1. Visually inspect the components of the Air Intake System for any of the following conditions:
- Loose, kinked, pinched, or damaged air lines.
- Loose, kinked, pinched, or damaged vacuum lines.
- Damaged or loose connections.
- Damaged insulation.
- Damaged Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.
2. Check the air intake hose for cracking.
