Auxiliary Air Valve (Idle Speed): Testing and Inspection
Air Intake System Tests

1. Visually inspect the components of the Air Intake System for any of the following conditions:

Loose, kinked, pinched, or damaged air lines.   
Loose, kinked, pinched, or damaged vacuum lines.
Damaged or loose connections.
Damaged insulation.
Damaged Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor.

2. Check the air intake hose for cracking.
3. If all checks are OK, go to: Computers and Control Systems / Testing and Inspection
