1. Ensure the power steering pump rotor is placed in the cam ring in the proper direction so that the punch mark on the power steering pump rotor

faces the front of the pump.

2. Place the power steering pump rotor in the cam ring.

3. Ensure that the rounded portions of the vanes are on the outside of the power steering pump rotor and facing the cam ring.

4. Place the vanes in the power steering pump rotor.

5. Install the two guide pins in the rear power steering pump housing.
