fluid temperature.

Do not hold the steering wheel against a stop for more than 15 seconds at a time.
6. Leave the engine running.
7. If necessary, turn the steering wheel fully left and fully right several times to raise the fluid temperature to 60-80° C (140-176° F).
CAUTION: Do not hold the steering wheel against a stop for more than 15 seconds at a time.
8. To measure the power steering pump output pressure, turn the steering wheel to the full right or full left stop position and increase the engine
speed to 1000 rpm.
9. Read the pressure. The standard fluid pressure should be within 7649-8238 kPa (1109-1194 psi).
10. If fluid pressure is below the standard pressure specification, slowly close the shutoff valve on the power steering system analyzer and check the
pressure.
CAUTION: The valve on the power steering system analyzer must be briefly closed to read operating pressures. Do not leave the valve closed for
more than 15 seconds.
11. If the fluid pressure remains below the standard pressure specification, the power steering pump is damaged. Repair or replace the power steering
pump as required.
12. If the fluid pressure reaches the standard pressure specification, the steering gear is damaged. Repair or replace the steering gear as required.
13. If the fluid pressure is above the standard pressure specification, check the power steering pump flow control valve. Also check for crimped power
steering lines. Replace if necessary.
14. Turn the key OFF.
15. Remove the power steering system analyzer and adapters.
16. Reconnect the power steering pressure hose and tighten the high-pressure hose connection to 15-25 Nm (11-18 ft. lbs.).
17. Bleed the system by following the procedure in stem F
