4. Remove the upper rear shock absorber nut and washer and remove the rear shock absorber.
NOTE: The wheel and tire assembly, rear hub, brake backing plate, and rear wheel spindle are shown removed for clarity.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the REMOVAL procedure. Tighten the upper and lower rear shock absorber nuts to 30-41 Nm (22-30 ft. lbs.).
