6. Separate the 2-4 servo spring retainer, fourth apply piston return spring, second apply piston, 2-4 servo thrust washer, and 2-4 servo piston.

7. Remove the O-rings from the second apply piston retainer.

8. Remove the D-rings from the second apply piston.
9. Inspect the servo piston for excessive wear. If worn, replace the servo piston.
