Windshield Washer Switch: Service and Repair
Multifunction Switch
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery ground cable.
WARNING: THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY MUST BE DEPLETED BEFORE ANY STEERING COLUMN OR AIR BAG
COMPONENT SERVICE IS PERFORMED. TO DEPLETE THE BACKUP POWER SUPPLY ENERGY, DISCONNECT THE
BATTERY GROUND CABLE AND WAIT TEN MINUTES.
2. Remove the two steering column shroud screws. Remove the upper and lower steering column shroud.
3. Remove the ignition switch lock cylinder.
4. Remove the two multi-function switch screws.
