If the vehicle was built between 9/28/98 and 4/1/01, use a coin or comparable tool to open the key fobs. Inspect the back side of the unlock and
panic buttons for the "positive stops" (Figure 7). If the "positive stops" are not present as shown for the new style key fob in Figure 7, replace the
key fobs.
