Door Lock Cylinder: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
NOTE

Individual lock cylinders are repaired by discarding the inoperative lock cylinder and building a new lock cylinder using the appropriate lock
repair package. The lock repair package includes a detailed instruction sheet to build the new lock cylinder to the current key code of the vehicle.

Perform this procedure with the front door glass in the full up position.
1. Remove the front door trim panel.
2. Position the watershield aside.
3. Position the door disarm switch aside.

Remove the E-clip.

Remove the front door lock cylinder arm.
3
Position the door disarm switch aside.
4. Remove the front door lock cylinder.

Remove the clip.
2
Remove the front door lock cylinder.
INSTALLATION
1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
