AFFECTED VEHICLE:
CERTAIN 1999 VILLAGER
SERVICE PROCEDURE
1.
Remove the second row right-hand bucket seat from the vehicle and place it on a clean work bench.
2.
Fold the back of the seat down and turn the seat over onto its back so that the seat frame is facing up.
3.
Remove the track assisting spring from the seat frame. See Figure 1.
4.
Remove the five (5) seat frame retaining nuts and remove the seat frame. See Figure 1.
5.
Remove the three (3) inboard (left) side cover screws.
6.
Remove the safety belt buckle bolt and discard.
7.
Remove the front seat track-to-cushion bolt. See Figure 1.
