EGR Valve: Service and Repair
REMOVAL
1. Disconnect the battery cable.
2. Remove the EGR valve tube and modulator tube.
NOTE: Brake reservoir removed for clarity.
3. Remove the Exhaust Gas Recirculation Temperature (EGRT) sensor electrical connector.
4. Remove the EGR valve nuts.
5. Remove the EGR valve.

Disconnect the EGR tube.
