Fuel Tank Mounting Straps: Service and Repair

REMOVAL

1. Raise and support the vehicle.

2. Remove the evaporative emission splash shield.

Remove the pin-type retainers.

Remove the nuts.

3

Remove the bolts.

3. Support the fuel tank with a suitable jack.

4. Remove the fuel tank support strap bolt.

5. Remove the fuel tank support strap.

Remove the hinge pin spring clip.

Remove the hinge pin.
