Tie Rod End: Service and Repair

REMOVAL 

1. Index the tie rod end and spindle tie rod end with a suitable marking device.

2. Loosen the tie rod end jam nut.

3. Using the special tool, separate the tie rod end from the front wheel knuckle.

Remove the cotter pin.

Remove the nut.
