9. Disconnect the two lower shock absorber mounts.

Remove the lower shock absorber nuts.

Position the shock absorbers aside.
NOTE: Right side shown, left side similar.
10. Remove the U-bolts.

Remove the nuts.
11. Lower and remove the rear axle.
