Wiper Arm: Service and Repair
Pivot Arm

Front

REMOVAL

1. Remove the pivot arm.

Lift pivot arm and windshield wiper blade to the upright position.

Slide the locking tab out and away from the bottom of the pivot arm.

3

Pull up and remove the pivot arm.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

NOTE

The LH and RH pivot arms are not interchangeable.

When installing the pivot arms, the locating key on the pivot arm must align with the key way on the mounting arm and pivot shaft.

Rear

REMOVAL

1. Remove the rear pivot arm.

Disconnect the rear washer hose.

Depress the locking clip on the base of the rear pivot arm.

3

Pull up and remove the rear pivot arm.

INSTALLATION

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
