Borg-Warner Type
1.
Place differential case in suitable vise, then remove pinion lock bolt.
2.
Loosen eight case cap screws leaving three to four threads remaining.
3.
Loosen vise slightly. Using a soft hammer, tap flange half of case lightly until it loosens.
4.
Remove case, cap bolts and case flange half from vise.
5.
Remove cone and side gear assemblies, thrust plates, springs, pinion shaft, gears and thrust washers,
