Fuel Tank Mounting Straps: Service and Repair
16 11 Replacing Left Or Right Clamping Band
Necessary preliminary tasks:
-
Remove rear left or right underbody panelling
IMPORTANT: Secure fuel tank against slipping and falling out.
Heavily support the fuel tank.
Release expansion rivet (1).
Release screws (2) and remove clamping band.
Installation:
Tightening torque
5AZ Clamping band to body
Type: R55 / R56
