Replacing Mounting Bracket for Vibration Absorber on Exhaust System
18 10 ... - Replacing mounting bracket for vibration absorber on exhaust system
Note:
Only MINI ONE and MINI COOPER up to 10/01.
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove reinforcement plate See: Exhaust Pipe/Muffler Hanger/Service and Repair for exhaust system

Remove vibration absorber See: Replacing Vibration Absorber on Exhaust System at Rear (W10) on exhaust system
Make a mark (1) on the exhaust system before removing the mounting bracket.
Mount upper bracket.
Mount lower bracket (1) on upper bracket (2) and fit screw (3).
Align weld hole (4) in upper bracket with mark on exhaust pipe.
Tightening torque 18 00 6AZ See: Specifications/18 00 Exhaust Assembly.
