Necessary preliminary tasks:

Discharge fuel tank See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Fuel Tank/Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove rear seat See: Body and Frame/Seats/Service and Repair/Rear Seat - Through-Loading System/Removing and Installing or Replacing
Rear Seat.

Remove sensor unit (left) See: Removing and Installing/Replacing Fuel Pump with Fuel Level Sensor.
Push trim panel (1) forward.
Unfasten screws (2).
Installation:
Tightening torque 16 11 2AZ See: Powertrain Management/Fuel Delivery and Air Induction/Specifications/16 11 Fuel Tank and Mounting Parts.
Remove the cover (3).
