Keyless Entry Module: Service and Repair
Removing And Installing/Replacing Control Unit For Remote Radio Control
Remove clock.
Remove interior rear view mirror.
Remove left and right hand sun visor counter support.
CAUTION!
Cover instrument panel trim to prevent screw/scrivets falling into air ducting.
Remove scrivet (1).
Remove Torx screw (1).
Remove scrivet (2).
Sunroof vehicles only:
Remove scrivet (2) if fitted and discard.
Install hint:
Replace scrivet (2) with clip (3).
Refer to Electronic Parts Catalogue (EPC) for parts details.
From 09/01 clip (3) is fitted in series production.
