Transmission Position Switch/Sensor: Service and Repair

24 35 600 - Replacing transmission switch

Note:

Top up transmission fluid See: Maintenance/Fluids/Fluid - CVT/Service and Repair after completing work.

Important!

Use only the approved automatic transmission fluid See: Maintenance/Fluids/Fluid - CVT/Service and Repair in this automatic transmission.
Otherwise the automatic transmission may incur extensive damage!
Do not drain fluid before the transmission has cooled down.

Detach plug connector from blocking switch.
Remove blocking switch from transmission.
1)Plug connector
2)Blocking switch
3)Oil sump
4)Sealing ring on blocking switch
Tightening torque 24 35 1AZ .

Installation:

Provide blocking switch with a new seal and lubricate seal with oil.
