Replacing Left or Right Trailing Arm

33 32 000 - Removing and installing complete left or right trailing arm

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove brake disk See: Brakes and Traction Control/Disc Brake System/Brake Rotor/Disc/Service and Repair/Removing and
Installing/Replacing Both Brake Discs (Rear)

Remove wheel speed sensor See: Brakes and Traction Control/Antilock Brakes / Traction Control Systems/Wheel Speed Sensor/Service and
Repair/Replacing a Rear Pulse Generator from trailing arm

After completing tasks, carry out wheel alignment check

Release nut (1), gripping with Allen key or open-end wrench.

Installation:

Replace self-locking nut.
Tightening torque 33 55 2AZ See: Stabilizer Bar/Specifications/Rear Axle - Stabilizer Bar
