Replacing Heater Core

64 11 207 - Replacing heater core

Follow instructions for working on cooling system See: Service and Repair/Instructions for Working on Cooling System.

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove intake filter housing See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair 

Unlock and detach coolant lines (1).
Carefully blow through twin pipes to remove remaining coolant from heater core.

Installation Note:

Make sure coolant lines (1) are correctly seated.
Vent cooling system See: Testing and Inspection and check for leaks.
