Tow Sensor: Service and Repair
65 75 055 - Removing and installing/replacing tilt sensor for anti-theft alarm system
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Remove mounting bracket for windscreen wiper system See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Wiper Motor/Service and Repair/Removing and
Installing or Replacing Bracket for Windscreen Wiper System Complete with Motor
Unscrew nuts (1).
Remove holder (2) with pitch sensor and disconnect associated plug connection.
Replacement:
Release nut (1) and remove tilt sensor from holder.
Tightening torque 65 75 1AZ See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Antitheft and Alarm Systems/Specifications.
Installation:
Make sure tilt sensor is correctly seated in holder (2).
