Removing Fuel Level Sender For Fuel Gauge (From Tank)

Removing And Installing Or Replacing Fuel Level Sender For Fuel Gauge

Special tools required:

-

16 1 020

Remove fuel from tank.
Remove back seat.
Remove fuel level sensor (left) complete unit.

Fold carpet forward (1).
Remove bolts (2) and access panel (3).
Tightening torque 6 Nm.

Release fuel hose connection.

Release locking ring using special tool 16 1 020.
Tightening torque 35 Nm.

Install hint: Replace rubber seal, insert seal into tank.
