Replacing All Seals on Rear Glass Lid

54 13 053 Replacing All Seals On Rear Glass Lid

Necessary preliminary tasks:

-

Remove rear glass lid

NOTE:  Follow repair instructions for bonded seals on panorama sunroof

Detach seals from glass lid.

Installation:

-

Clean bonding surface with adhesive remover (sourcing reference, refer to ETK- Electronic Parts Catalogue)

-

Press seal without stretching (squashing).

-

Stick on seal in sections

IMPORTANT:

-

Do not touch bonding surface.

-

Surface temperature >= 20 degrees C

-

Incorrect bonding of the seal will result in leakage.
