Air Flow Meter/Sensor: Service and Repair
13 62 560 - Removing and installing or replacing mass air flow sensor (N14)
Important!
Gaiter with clamp fastening must be fitted dry and free from grease!
Sealing faces and fittings must be dry and free from grease.
If gaiter with clamp fastening is not installed dry and free from grease, this may result in turbocharger failure!
Necessary preliminary tasks:

Read out fault memory of DME control unit
-
Switch off ignition
Disconnect plug connection (1).
Release clamp (2).
Release screws (3).
Tightening torque 13 62 1AZ See: Specifications/13 62 Senders for Control Unit.
Detach gaiter from air-mass sensor.
Installation Note:
Fit gaiter dry and without grease.
Fitting on air-mass sensor must be dry and free from grease.
Remove air-mass sensor (4) in direction of arrow.
