Detach the speedometer wiring harness from the speedometer gear.

4.

Remove the speedometer sleeve bolt and pull the gear/sleeve assembly from its opening in the transaxle.

5.

Disassemble the speedometer gear/sleeve by using a punch to remove the spring pin.

Except for the driven gear, retain all pieces of the speedometer gear/sleeve for re-assembly.
