Fuel Injector Resistor: Testing and Inspection
COMPONENT TEST
Injector Resistor Location
1.
Disconnect the resistor connector.
Fuel Injector Resistor Connector
2.
Measure the resistance between terminal 4 and each of the other terminals, one at a time.
Resistance: 5.5 - 6.5 ohms at 20°C (68°F)
3.
If the resitance is not as specified for one or more of the resistor terminals, the resistor is faulty.
