5. Release pedal gradually from its full stroke position to measure amount of return made by pedal until interlock switch makes as operating sound,

6. If amount of pedal return is not 0.394-0.591 inch, adjust by loosening locknut and turning interlock switch.

7. Measure clearance at point where clutch disengages, Fig. 9.
8. Bleed hydraulic system or check master cylinder, release cylinder and hoses if clutch pedal play and clearance are not as follows:

a. Total play should be 0.24-0.51 inch.
b. Clearance from floorboard to clutch pedal pad with pedal depressed should be 2.2 inches or more.
