EGR Valve: Service and Repair
1. Remove the vacuum hose from the EGR valve.
2. Unbolt and remove the EGR valve from the intake manifold.
3. Check EGR valve and intake passages for carbon deposits or blockage, clean mounting surface.
4. Install with new gasket, torquing mounting bolts to 22 Nm (16 ft.lbs.).
5. Install vacuum hose to EGR valve.
