Throttle Cable/Linkage: Adjustments
Without Cruise Control
Accelerator Cable Adjustment Bolt Locations
1. Turn the ignition on (without starting the engine) for approx. 15 seconds minimum.
2. Loosen the adjusting bolts.
3. Adjust the accelerator cable free play.
Clearance:
Manual Transmission: 1 - 2 mm (0.04 - 0.08 in.)
Automatic Transmission: 3 - 5 mm (0.12 - 0.20 in.)
4. Tighten the adjusting bolts.
5. Confirm that the throttle valve fully opens and closes by operating the accelerator pedal.

6. Confirm that the throttle lever stopper touches the idle position switch.
