DISASSEMBLY
Follow disassembly steps outlined in illustration.
NOTE: Disassembly service points as follows:
a. Self-locking nut removal (2).
1. Holding the spring upper seat with the special tool, loosen the self-locking nut.
CAUTION: The self-locking nut should be loosened only not removed.
2. Use the special tools, compress the coil spring, and then remove the self-locking nut.
CAUTION:

Install the special tools evenly so that the maximum length will be attained within the installation range.
